Weekly Update #13

Math 7A and 7B
Students are currently working to finish up Unit 3B: Fractions, Decimals, and Percents. Students will have their Unit Exam on Tuesday December 11th.

After the Unit Exam students will be working to completing a culminating project that covers the majority of topics that have been covered this year. The project will be explained more in detail next week and students will be given ample class time to complete. This project will be completed and due before winter break. After winter break we will start a unit on adding and subtracting fractions.

Math 8C
Students are currently working to finish up Unit 1: Square Roots and Pythagorean Theorem. Students will have their Unit Exam on Thursday December 13th (this is subject to change).

After the Unit Exam students will be working on a small culminating project that covers topics from Unit 1. The project will be explained more in detail next week and students will be given ample class time to complete. The project will be completed and due before winter break. After winter break we will start a unit on surface area and volume.
