After the unit exam we have a short unit on geometry and we will review during the last week of classes in June for the final exam. Students are writing their final exam for Math on June 25 and it accounts for 10% of their grade.

Students are currently working on the Data Analysis and Probability unit. The unit test will be next Wednesday (June 5th). Yesterday we started a data analysis graphing project that is due tomorrow at the end of class for marks. Any assignment not handed in will receive a grade of zero until handed in. It is important students ensure they have all assignments handed in as a grade of zero can dramatically decrease a students' grade. As we are coming to the end of the year, students should be checking PowerSchool to ensure that there are no missing assignments in all of their subjects.
After the unit exam we have a short unit of geometry and we will review during the last week of classes in June for the final exam. Students are writing their final exam for Math on June 25 and it accounts for 10% of their grade.

Good morning,
Students will be writing a Mid Unit Quiz tomorrow on Unit 7 covering mean, median, mode, range, and outliers. Students worked on a practice quiz today and the answers have been posted to my blog (https://welzblogeljhs.blogspot.com/). On Friday, we will begin working with probability.
We are coming to the end of the year and final exams will be shortly creeping up on students. I am planning to have a week of review for students to prepare for the final. I will provide review booklets for each unit

Math 7A and 7B
Students are currently working on unit 7 data analysis and probability. We have so far covered mean, median, mode, and range. There will be a quiz on Friday that covers these topics. Students will be using tomorrow's class to review.
After data analysis and probability we have a short unit on geometry. I anticipate that we will have the last one to two weeks in June to review and study for the final exam. The final exam is cumulative of all topics from the year but primarily focuses on the material from February onward.

Students are currently working on Unit 6 Algebra. This week we covered distributive property. There will be a quiz on Friday. This quiz will act as a re-test for the quiz that students wrote last Friday. I will take the higher grade if students did poorly on the first quiz.
We will be wrapping up this Algebra unit in the next few weeks and after that we have two short units on Probability and Geometry. I anticipate that we will have the last week in June to review and study for the final exam. Students will be given review booklets and study guides in class to prepare. The final exam is cumulative of all topics from the year.

They will be writing a practice test tomorrow during class in order to prepare.
