Weekly Update #10

Math 7A and 7B
Students are currently working through Unit 3B: Fractions, Decimals, and Percents. There will be a mid-unit quiz next Wednesday or Thursday. This quiz will cover converting fractions to decimals, converting decimals to fractions, converting improper/proper fractions, and comparing/ordering fractions.

This unit requires a lot of practice from students and it is very important students are completing regularly assigned work. Math 8C
We have completed the fractions unit and have moved onto Square Roots and the Pythagorean Theorem. There will be a mid-unit quiz next Friday or on Monday November 26th. This quiz will cover sections 1.1 to 1.4 from the textbook which cover Square Roots and Square Numbers. After the quiz we will start working on Pythagorean Theorem.
